I’ve worked as a Concept Artist in the Games Industry for about 5 years now, working on a variety of games and game pitches. I’ve also seen many of my personal artworks published in various art anthologies and magazines.
As a student I attended an Art Foundation course from which I then completed a 3 year Graphic Design BA course. It wasn’t until I started the Graphic Design course that I realised that my true passion was with Illustration and Concept Art. I knew little about the Games Industry and up to that point had always felt that getting a job as a Concept Artist was the kind of dream job that only happened to others.
When I realised that I couldn’t see myself in any role other than that of a Concept Artist I set myself to task learning the skills I would need to break into the Industry. A year after graduating from my Graphic Design course I landed my job as Concept Artist for Blitz Games Studios.
I love what I do and take a lot of joy from creating personal projects from which new worlds spring forth, bolstering my visual and narrative skills in the process.
